VJES encourage publication of original scientific works in a variety of economic fields, but priority is given to articles covering topics in areas related to finance, accounting, management and marketing, and interdisciplinary contributions fitting the scope and aims of the journal, contributing both to empirical development of knowledge, and supporting good practices. We encourage scientists from anywhere to send original articles for publication. Articles can be submitted in English. The journal uses a double-blind peer-review policy. Submitted articles are reviewed for scientific quality and originality. Articles sent are verified using anti-plagiarism software prior to peer-review, and suspicious articles are rejected.

The journal observes the following guidelines throughout the reviewing and publishing processes: academic grounding, fairness and objectivity, originality and innovation, applicative relevance, acknowledgment and disclosure. Before submitting your paper, please ensure that it has been carefully read for errors. If English is not your first language, please have your paper proofread by an English speaking person. Papers will be returned if the standard of English is not considered to be good enough for publication.

The main scope is to publish biannual articles that have a significant contribution to the theoretical and/or methodological literature on topics specific to the journal’s profile. The editorial policy encourages young researchers and students to publish their significant research findings accomplished during the process of elaborating the dissertation thesis/license papers.
